Co-founder and Executive Director, ElectHER
Ibijoke is a Co-founder and Executive Director of ElectHER- a non-partisan Pan-African political organization, where she drives the vision to bridge inequality gaps in African democracy by Engaging critical stakeholders, Encouraging women to Decide, Equipping them to Run and Enabling them to Win elections. In a bid to strengthen women’s representation in Nigeria, her organization recently launched a $10 million fund to empower 1000 women and directly fund 35 women in the 2023 elections.
She has worked with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, leading on Policy, trade and investment relations across West Africa, and with Paris-based Pan-African publication- The Africa Report, where she led on communication campaigns for governments and some of the biggest brands in Africa,
She has a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations from Nigeria, a Masters’ degree in Project Management from France, an Executive certification in Business Analytics from Imperial Business School, and currently enrolled in an Executive Masters programme in Social Business and Entrepreneurship at London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Ibijoke is passionate about social innovation design and always looking to collaborate on solutions that seek to tackle inequality and poverty in Africa.
Amongst other recognitions, she’s a One Young World 2019 Dutch MFA scholar and a 2019 Public Service Nominee for The Future Awards Africa.
